National Teams (Tryout By Invitation Only)
Term: November 2024-June 2025
3 days a week practices, Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Cost: $2400 total (see payment schedules)
17 tournament dates minimum (2-day tournaments equal 2 dates)
This team is offered at the clubs discretion and is the highest level trainings and competition. This team also takes a considerable commitment. If you are interested in trying out for a National team, and you have not been playing previously on a Ballistic 6 month team, please fill out this form (link below). National level players must have the ability to commit in full to the program, and have 1) high skill level/potentials and/or experience above par with the age division. This team will function very similarly to a 6-month team, including 3 days a week practices, will include some extra times for positional trainings during the season. National team tryouts will occur on July 12, and 13th and if there are any potential spots left there could be follow-up individual tryouts possibly up until October (upon request only).

This team is offered at the clubs discretion and is the highest level trainings and competition. These teams may be formed from the pool of National Team tryout participants. If a team needs a lighter-than-national schedule, but wants more dates than standard 6-month, we may offer this to individual groups with the intent of future years converting the group into a National Team.

6 month Teams or Hybrid
In forming teams we determine if there is a group of athletes that we feel would be able to compete well together at this level. Teams will compete with other club, regional and national teams in the state and possibly adjacent states. 6-month tryouts will occur in August, however additional players may be added if spots are available. Some players could be hybrid, if it is deemed to benefit the competitive ability of the team.
If a 6 month player decides not to finish their seasons, they are still responsible for the financial obligations for the season they are currently in (winter or spring). Any prorations made will be determined by Ballistic Volleyball.

More on Hybrid
At older ages (14 and up), Hybrid positions might be the only option given
Teams practice 3 times a week, MWF where 3-month teams only practice twice a week.
Cost: $950 each season, Winter or Spring.

Important infromation about Hybrid
Hybrid players are given the opportunity to play for 3 months on a 6-month team. The only caveat being that if they do decide to play both winter and spring they are not guaranteed to stay with the same team, results of the Spring tryout would determine that.
Can Winter Hybrid athletes play all 6 months if they want to? Yes, and the protocol is that Winter Hybrid athletes must give a statement of intent prior to spring tryouts if they wish to play in the Spring too. As mentioned, this does not guarantee their spot on the team, but they will be considered based on their current season performance. Winter Hybrid athletes will not attend Spring tryouts, and will be notified after Spring tryouts of the results.
3 Month Teams 13u-18u
At older ages (14 and up), Hybrid positions might be the only option offered (see description above)

This team is great for all players who want a great off-season experience and skill building, but also may have busy lives and/or play multiple sports. Teams are arranged by skill, experience, and position. The older the age of player the higher the skill expectation to make a team. This team will compete with other club or regional level teams in the state.

This team is great for youth players who are the age of 12 or under and want their first experiences in higher level competition. They will learn advanced skills that are not often taught at school or community leagues. These teams will compete with other club teams in the state.
